About Us

We are Rob, James and our dog, Oscar

We love to travel but, like many, 2020/21 put paid to any plans of foreign travel.

We had been thinking about buying a van and also working more as digital nomads (I am fortunate to be self-employed and able to work from anywhere) and the craziness of the past year expedited our plans so we welcomed Madge to our family and set off on our travels.

There was so much we didn't know and, through trial and error, we are slowly learning. That's why we decided to launch this website and our YouTube Channel - to help other budding motohome and campervan owners who also have the wanderlust for travel.

After using the motorhome for a year, we decided to downsize to a campervan, so we placed an order and waited ......and waited. After the campervan was delayed for more than a year, we finally gave up and got our deposit back and decided to put this adventure on pause (for now). As the world began to open up to travel again, we planned lots of adventures both home and abroad. In the past year, we went back to South Africa. We've explored the Caribbean islands and Florida.

In 2024 we will be visiting Zimbabwe, Cape Town, the Norwegian Fjords, Greece and Turkey.
